Very sweet story for little girls. It is a bit of human nature for males to want to feel more dominant and lead. This means that sometimes girls are shy to do things that boys like, which is nonsense! This book is simply meant to give little girls the courage to want and love whatever they want. This isn't promoting anything bad or sexist, just giving little ones courage. Great story time book that you could read a few times. I think it is important for writers like Carole to put out non-typical books like this. It breaks from the typical princess stories which influence girls only in one way, to be pretty and do princess like things. I received this book for free in return for an honest opinion. You can't go wrong with this book of encouragement for your little girl!
